Nina Simone Clips
I love boing boing, which is where i got this amazing clip from. It's a rare clip of Nina Simone from 1962 performing the Israeli folk song Eretz Zavat Chalav u'Dvash or Land of Milk and Honey.
After the jump is a selection of other Nina Simone clips from around the same vintage. Nice way to check out older performances and rarities. Performances like these need need to be seen. Having them available to see improves your quality of life, thankyou YouTube uploader.
Here's an improvisation from 1961
When I was In My Prime - 1961. Really lovely and mournful performance too. Just wonderful.
Zungo - 1961. This is introduced at the end of the previous clip.
For All we Know - 1961. Lovely song, and there's some really nice arpeggiated harp and piano in there that is frankly, inspiring.
I Love You Porgy - 1962.
