Something odd happened...
Just a quick note really to say that a letter a day has had to go on the backburner. I had visions of the first couple of months of my self employment being quite easy going, punctuated with trips downstairs to play Playstation, and going out in my kayak.
What has actually happened is a bit more exciting. I've been absolutely flat out, which is actually very good news as I'm very happy to be busy, but it has meant that a little fun side project has had to move back on my list priorities. I haven't forgotten about it all, it's just less important than my paying clients. Normal service should resume as soon as possible.

Letter a Day - Datacrunching Doppleganger Ducks!
Okay hopefully back on track, got back from Melbourne last night. As a side note, last time I did "something a day", it nearly damn killed me, and I'm determined not to do this at the cost of my sanity, so if I end up taking a day here and there off, it's only so I don't go bonkers. Apologies in advance etc.

Sorry folks no letters for today, tomorrow and the next day. I've been working since 7am, and I'm getting a bit tired. I'm out of state Friday & Saturday so normal service will resume on Sunday.

Letter a Day - An Athletic Abdominal Snowman
It's day 1 of working for myself. As a little present for myself, I decided to do something fun every day of February. Last time I did something like this it nearly broke my brain, but it was also a stack of fun and I'm keen to have another shot. This time around it's a Letter a Day - I was going to go really plain and typographic, but I suffer from a pathological inability not to whack eyes and ears on things and am driven to turn any shape into a character. So here's day 1, an Athletic Abdominal Snowman.
