Couple of great local projects.
I just thought I'd let you know know about a couple of local Tasmanian projects which are really exciting. Ian Jeanneret (Who is my uncle) is involved with both of them, and apart from being just about the nicest person I know, he does some really lovely work - especially if you're a fan of photography. The first is...
Bare Winter by Kirsty Pilkington

This superb collection of images by Kirsty Pilkington is presented as a 175 page hardback book (25 x 25cm) stitch bound and printed to the highest standard in tritone on quality environmentally friendly Hanno Art Silk paper.
Bare Winter is printed in Tasmania by Print Applied Technology. (I use the PAT a lot for my day to day printing needs, and they do excellent work and have outstanding service, so if you're after a reliable printer in Tasmania, the PAT is a great option by the way.)
Order your copy today by sending an email to sales (at) barewinter.com, or if you'd like to see a little more of the book please visit barewinter.com, or visit Kirsty's website at Rappaw Prints.
Price: $75.00 AUD
Ian Jeanneret's 2009 Calendar

Also printed this week was Ian's Tasmania 2009 calendar. Available in A4 size this calendar features full colour images taken at various locations around Tasmania. The photography is lovely and if you're looking to make a Tasmanian living elsewhere, homesick, this is just the ticket! Jokes aside, it's really beautiful and the price is a steal.
Send an email to ian (at) straydogphotos.com now to order your copies. Price: $20.00 each (Postage free within Australia. Please add $5 for overseas orders)
They accept payment by Visa and Mastercard, Paypal, Cheque and Bank Transfer.
Ian's website is straydogphotos.com, you can see a lot more of his work and buy prints there too.
In both cases, all images are available as framed prints, and can be shipped around the world. Ian and Kirsty also have a huge range of postcards that can be bought from their websites as linked above.
