This one really goes out to my Hobart peeps, but if you know anyone...
I really like the way this guy/girl/group of golems/ blogs.
The design work is also super lovely.

This really only applies to OS 10.4 and earlier, but on my work mac I have a lot of applications which I use only intermittently and hate them cluttering up the dock, especially programs I launch once a week instead of every day. I know I can have the applications folder on the dock, but there's too much scrolling involved in that, so I made a folder and put aliases to all my programs that I don't use a daily basis to help keep clutter on my dock to a minimum. Fiendishly easy. Works nicely. Yay.

Dear internet.
I may be away. I have important "business" to attend to.
Lots of love,

I think I broke my toe. It hurts.
Watch it right the way through, it's so worth it.

I wonder what I will be getting for my 12th birthday?

He's awesome. That is all you need to know.

For more lobster johnson niceness - clicky...
Lobster Johnson is my favourite mignola creation, and I'm dying for him to feature in a team fortress artstyled single player nazi smashing game. Now that thought has left my brain and entered the global unconscious, somebody make it so!
american elf which is the work of James Kolchaka is amazing. The more i read of the daily diary the more I love what he's done with it. Bloody brilliant and sublime all at once. And it's updated daily. When I did a gig poster everyday of february it nearly goddamn killed me, and this guy updates daily!
Because we can't have my American visitors thinking that we keep Kangaroos in our backyards as pets... But... say hello to my new lawnmower!

World, meet Droofus the Wallaby. He's more awesome than a cat and a dog multiplied by 10. He's was orphaned, and for the next little while he's living with us, until he's big enough to go back into the wild.
