Poster for The Broken Splendour featuring Thomas Vecera. You can also catch him at the Empress Hotel in Melbourne on March 8.
Looks fantastic. The bastard child of breakout and the tiny ds homebrew app axe.
Also - The song hosted on Aksys Games' website media section is fabbo. Chiptunes done very nicely.

Sorry to cross post this, but as per my personal development / talking about non music section of the website change says, I've just submitted a design to threadless and would be supergrateful for folks to to take a look at the design, and if you like it please take a moment and give it a score!
Also if you want to see my personal blogging, feel free to also visit change, it's about stuff!
Sadly Tom has decided to retire Music Thing. Not much to say other than the combined influence of Tom's amazing, funny and sardonic blogging on MT and Peter Kirn's (of CDM) massive and infectious enthusiasm encouraged (or was the catalyst for) me to start blogging in a more formal sense, and probably also triggered a much more in depth engagement with online culture in general.
Thanks tom mt was awesome and I'm sure the nets would be happy to have you back anytime you decide to set up mt again!

It's pretty cool actually, and not a bad way for apple to continue to leverage their hipster cred. The interface looks well thought out and easy to use. The music learning software I've used or sold (back in the day when I was a retail robot) were all pretty awful to use. This looks like not a bad addition and everyones used to paying money in small chunks to apple for things these days, so the paid lessons should go down alright too. No substitute for a proper instructor obviously.

I like it. Do you?
Dylab has a 4 way Korg DS-10 jam up. I know a lot of us wanted Electroplankton to fill this kind of role and it's really cool to see the DS as instrument thing finally happen. The jam features briefly in the intro this video:
You can visit Dylab's site to listen to the whole thang.
Also he's just released a 4 track EP with hard acid on it. You can have a listen and purchase it from Juno.

Well it's the last day of my holidays and I'm spending a bit of time updating onetonne to bring it into the current century. I've thrown out the old template and I have to start from scratch. Hurray for newness! (Sorry if things get broken in the process!)
